Meet Mrs. Scott
This is my 20th year teaching at Meadowbrook.
I previously taught first grade but have returned to the wonderful world of kindergarten! I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from National Louis University where I became a Reading Specialist. Also, I became a National Board Certified teacher in Early Literacy. I truly love helping children become readers and writers!
I live in Northbrook where I also grew up! I have 3 children, Matthew, Kristen and Eric and 2 funny dogs, Brady and Sophie. In my spare time I enjoy working out, watching sports and reading.

Meet Mrs. Erickson
Hi! My name is Margie Erickson. This is my second year aiding in kindergarten, however my 6th year working at Meadowbrook. I previously worked in 5th grade with Hillary Nasso and Gayle White. I received my Masters degree in both Elementary Education and Special Education at Simmons College in Boston, Ma. I taught both first and second grade for 8 years before moving to Northbrook and raising my three children; Sam, Ben and Sarah, two of whom were lucky to have Mrs. Scott in first grade! In my free time I enjoy quality time with my family, walking my dog, Hank and reading. I look forward to a great year of learning!
